Addie’s Sugar Co. is a home-based baking business in Downey, California. We specialize in decorated sugar cookies, but we offer a variety of sweet treats. My name is Natassia Smick, and I am the Owner and Baker of Addie’s Sugar Co., formerly known as Sweet Adeline’s Desserts. I am a very proud wife and Momma of 4 beautiful babies. The company is named after my sweet baby girl, Adeline. I have been baking treats since I was a little girl. I remember always being in the kitchen making delicious meals and fabulous sweet treats with my Cuban Grandmother and Godmother. A lot of my happiest memories have been in the kitchen, cooking and baking with family. I always knew I wanted to own my own business, but I could never figure out what. Meanwhile, I was constantly baking treats for my loved ones. My husband called me “Betty Crocker” because I was always baking! Everyone always encouraged me to start my own baking business because all the treats I used to bake would come out delicious and appealing to the eye. On my daughter’s first birthday, 7 years ago, I decided to go for it, and the rest is history! I love being able to stay at home with my four children while making other people happy with the treats that I bake for them. My goal with this business is to bring enjoyment to others, like I have for my family and friends, with my desserts. Because baking and enjoying my treats has been such an important part of my memories, I want to bring others the same great feeling.
